Are you passionate about animal health and dedicated to providing excellent veterinary care? The Pet Mechanic is seeking a Medical Director  to join our progressive, full-service veterinary practice at our South Street location in Philadelphia.

 

About Us: Founded in 2010, The Pet Mechanic has grown to encompass two state-of-the-art facilities. We pride ourselves on offering comprehensive care including primary and emergency services, alongside advanced dental and soft tissue surgeries. Our fully equipped in-house laboratory, digital radiology, ultrasound, and tonometry units support our mission to deliver superior veterinary care. In our surgical and dental suites, we utilize top-tier anesthetic and monitoring equipment to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Our Doctors:

 

Dr. Richard, a local from Harrisburg, PA, is a graduate of Delaware Valley University and Ross in St. Kitts. His expertise lies in surgery and staying abreast with the latest veterinary research.

 

Dr. Coates, originally from Fayetteville, AR, and raised in Memphis, TN, fulfilled his lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian at The University of Tennessee-Knoxville. He has a keen interest in ophthalmology, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery.

 

Community Involvement: Our commitment extends beyond our doors. We offer a 20% discount to 501c approved rescues and proudly partner with Saved Me Animal Rescue, providing free medical and surgical care.
