Litchfield Veterinary Hospital in Litchfield, CT is currently seeking an additional Associate Veterinarian to join our wonderful team.

Litchfield Veterinary Hospital understands that pets are family.  For over twenty years, our veterinary doctors and medical staff have set out on a mission to practice exceptional medicine and surgery tailored to our patients' individual needs in a fear-free environment.  Throughout the warm welcoming facility, our experienced and dedicated team members work as one to ensure the best client and patient experience.  Collaboratively, we deliver integrated veterinary care utilizing the latest in medical technology.  We set forth to build relationships based on trust and confidence.

We provide a variety of services, including mature ovariohysterectomies, splenectomies, and mass excisions due to having a Voyant vessel sealer.  Two of our veterinarians perform laparoscopic ovariohysterectomies and surgery.  We have two endoscopes for canine and feline endoscopy.  In addition to dogs and cats, we have the potential to provide more exotic pet care as there is no other clinic in the county seeing exotics.

Our team works really well together.  Our veterinarians have a diverse experience level and enjoy teaching, collaborating, and bouncing ideas off of one another.  We have a support staff team who has been with us between two and twenty years, six of them being CVTs.

If you are considering moving to the Litchfield area, it is helpful to know that we have a lot of land conservation with hiking trails.  Litchfield has concerts on the green in the summer and the Community Center is very active.  The closest towns are Goshen and Torrington, with Watertown being thirty minutes away.
