In addition to dogs and cats, we have the potential to provide more exotic pet care as there is no other clinic in the county seeing exotics.
Our team works really well together. Our veterinarians have a diverse experience level and enjoy teaching, collaborating, and bouncing ideas off of one another. We have a support staff team who has been with us between two and twenty years, six of them being CVTs.

The Opportunity:
Animal & Bird Health Care Center in Cherry Hill, NJ is seeking an additional Associate Veterinarian to join our wonderful team. At Animal & Bird Health Care Center we are committed to delivering best-in-class veterinary medicine to our patients. Conveniently located near the NJ Turnpike and I-295, Animal & Bird Health Care Center offers one of the most established referral centers in the Tri-State area for exotic pets. Our preferred candidate would have experience with dogs, cats, small mammals, avian and exotic pet as our practice is 50% companion animal and 50% avian, small mammal, and exotics.

At Animal & Bird Health Care Center we believe in mentorship and continuously growing our skillsets. To that end, you’ll never be working alone, and will always be scheduled with another doctor present. We are highly collaborative within the practice and are seeking an associate to come collaborate alongside us! Dr. Dazen, our Medial Director, is board certified (ABVP) in avian medicine and surgery and provides regular mentorship within the hospital.

Along with Dr. David Kupersmith, you’ll have access to the largest and most experienced team of avian veterinarians in the region. Our doctors are all members of the AAV!
Furry, feathered, or scaled... we see them all! For over three decades, we have been providing the best medicine and surgery for dogs, cats, birds, small mammals and reptiles while keeping pet-parents informed and educated.
ABHCC is stocked with everything our doctors need to provide best-in-class care to our patients. Our hospital features a full surgical suite, with sevoflurane gas anesthesia, an Ellman Radiosurgical unit, Storz Endoscopy with video and full anesthesia monitoring equipment. We offer our patients the best standard of care for dental care with dental radiography, a high/low speed dental unit, and advanced dental surgery/root canal therapy. We have a boarded cardiologist and ultrasonography on staff. Our in-house lab features an Idexx catalyst chemistry analyzer, vetlab UA analyzer and SNAP readers, an Abaxis Vetscan analyzer and HM5 CBC machine, as well as cytology staining, and gram staining. We also offer companion laser therapy which offers pain-free, surgery-free, drug-free treatment. Newly acquired Moichor avian/exotic CBC analyzer!!!
